Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, MT is seeking a Surgical Technician to set up and maintain sterile fields and assist the surgeon and circulating nurse during procedures.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program and NBSTSA certification on hire, with BLS required upon hire. Preferred OR experience and GI endoscopy exposure are a plus, with a per-diem schedule and day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a sterile field for procedures.
• Assist surgeon as necessary and support the surgical team.
• Care for specimens and maintain familiarity with OR equipment and instruments.
