Job summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking a Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist I to support the laparoscopic and endoscopic teams by prepping instruments and equipment for surgical cases. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced operating room environment but does not include direct patient care.

You will train in a high-class simulation OR, learn sterilization, setup, troubleshooting, and documentation. Applicants must live within 30 minutes of our contracted hospitals and be able to work flexible

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
Healthcare experience or training preferred; CPR cert. preferred.
No direct patient care; hands-on OR support role.

Responsibilities

Provide logistical and technical support for laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries.
Set up, troubleshoot and maintain all minimally invasive equipment and video systems.
Manage routine tower functions, pre-op setup and instrument knowledge.
Understand video components connectivity and troubleshooting principles.
Assist physicians and staff to meet preferences and complete forms/documents.
Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment sterilized between cases.
Participate in shadow and tray call coverage as scheduled.
Learn and follow all policies and clinical guidelines of SpecialtyCare and partner facilities.
