Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, or Surgical Technologist.
• Certification (preferred): CRCST / CSPDT, CER.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for surgical procedures, including equipment setup, troubleshooting, calibration, and functional checks.
• Serve as a day-to-day clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and technologists regarding device use, workflow optimization, and best practices.
• Assist OR and Endoscopy teams with room readiness, case flow, and equipment availability to minimize delays and cancellations.
• Act as the primary liaison between OR and SPD to ensure seamless instrument and scope reprocessing workflows.
• Help coordinate instrument and endoscope inventories, tray accuracy, and case-cart readiness.
• Identify and elevate issues related to missing instruments, damaged equipment, or reprocessing bottlenecks.
