Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Two or more years of Operating Room experience preferred.
• RN license in the State of North Carolina; BCLS certification required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care and facilitates activities and processes related to the OR daily schedule, equipment, and instrumentation for selected service lines.
• Supervises RNs, Surgical Technologists and ancillary staff in the OR and participates in performance evaluations.
• Maintains equipment/instrumentation in collaboration with sterile processing; ensures supply availability for shifts.
• Communicates proactively with anesthesiologists and surgeons regarding delays or capacity issues; ensures smooth flow of cases.
