Job summary

Inspira Health seeks an Operating Room Scrub Technician to support safe, high-quality surgical care. You will prepare the OR, maintain the sterile field, and provide instruments and equipment during procedures, under RN and surgeon direction.

The role requires aseptic technique knowledge, OR protocols, and the ability to anticipate needs across specialties while contributing to a multidisciplinary team and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited surgical technology program and associated hours.
• Experience as Scrub Technician in OR preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, surgical instrumentation, and OR protocols.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and procedural needs across specialties.
• Experience assisting with surgical counts, specimen handling, patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to support patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and maintain the sterile field.
• Provide instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team across all phases of the operative process.
• Assist with surgical counts and patient positioning as needed.
