Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey is seeking an Operating Room Scrub Technician to support safe, high-quality surgical care. The role works under the direction of the Registered Nurse and surgeon to prepare the OR, maintain the sterile field, and provide instruments and supplies during procedures.

The position requires adherence to aseptic technique, infection prevention standards, and established surgical policies while anticipating the needs of the surgical team across all operative phases.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited surgical technology program and associated hours.
• Previous experience as a Scrub Technician in an Operating Room setting preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, and OR protocols.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and procedural needs.
• Experience with surgical counts, specimen handling, patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.
