Job summary

Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Operations Coordinator to maintain daily operations including scheduling and staff assignments. The role requires strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of Operating Room equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Registered Nursing program, with preference for a BSN, and possess at least four years of RN experience, including two years in surgical services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years as a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years in surgical services.
• Supervisory or charge experience preferred.
• Current license to work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily OR schedule and staff assignments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, and Nursing Administration.
