Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with MD RN license and eligible to work in the US.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
• CNOR preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to ensure smooth daily flow of cases.
• Coordinate OR case scheduling with OR and X-ray teams.
• Prepare monthly call schedules and OR staff meetings.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Order instruments and coordinate inventory for the OR.
• Assist with OR education and staff in-services.
• Prepare afternoon schedules for the next day and supervise evening shift.
• Coordinate with Radiology, Materials, and Sterile Processing for supplies.
• Ensure Joint Commission compliance and participate in PI projects.
