Job summary

Sentara Healthcare Inc is seeking an OR Unit Coordinator to join our operating room team on a full-time day shift. The role provides clinical leadership for nursing care delivery, focuses on safety, quality initiatives, workflow simplification, and staff development, under the department manager.

Requirements include a BSN, VA RN license, and BLS. We expect about 18 months of RN experience with OR experience preferred. This position emphasizes excellent customer service and Gold Standard care.

Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
