Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking an OR Registered Nurse to join our innovative surgical team. You will circulate and scrub for a wide range of procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the rest of the team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN program completion.
• Current RN licensure in Iowa or compact multistate license.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of surgical cases with full training provided.
• Participate in high-acuity specialties including cardiac, neuro, and robotic-assisted procedures.
• Grow skills in robotics and gain hands-on experience with surgical technology.
• Assess patient needs pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and support optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care and patient responses accurately and promptly.
