MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for on-call weeknights, with a focus on safe, efficient care during operative procedures. You will circulate, scrub, and support a range of surgical specialties alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• 2 years of OR RN experience required.
• Current Iowa RN license (or eligible) per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of surgical cases with full training provided.
• Participate in high-acuity specialties including cardiac, neuro, and robotic procedures.
• Grow robotics skills with hands-on experience in leading surgical tech.
• Assess patient needs pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to support optimal patient outcomes and safe care.
• Document care and patient responses accurately and timely.
