Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, is seeking an OR Registered Nurse to circulate and scrub for diverse surgical cases with full training provided. You will support cardiac, neuro, and robotic-assisted procedures while ensuring safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

Current RN licensure in Iowa or multi-state license
ACLS within 6 months of hire
Associate degree or higher in nursing

Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub for a broad range of surgical cases with comprehensive training
Assist in high-acuity specialties including cardiac, neuro, and robotics
Assess patient needs pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and respond to changes in condition
Document care and patient responses accurately and promptly
Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-op care
Support, guide, and delegate tasks to LPNs and Nursing Assistants as needed
Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, and quality initiatives
Float to other units or adjust shifts as needed to support patient care
