Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide comprehensive perioperative care in a high-volume surgical environment. The role involves nursing assessments, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a 12-OR suite on a 330-bed campus renowned for advanced cardiovascular and robotic surgery programs.

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing complex procedures, implementing evidence-based care plans, and staying agile

Qualifications

• Diploma or ASN required.
• 1 year Med/Surg or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Prior Circulating and CVOR RN experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and plan patient care.
• Implement and evaluate individualized perioperative plans.
• Circulate and scrub complex surgical cases.
• Maintain readiness for after-hours and weekend on-call surgical cases.
