Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to perform nursing assessments, formulate evidence-based care plans, and collaborate with a world-class team in a high-volume 12-OR setting. The role supports one of Florida’s largest open-heart programs and a da Vinci Xi robotic hub.

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing complex cases, and maintaining readiness for after-hours on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ASN in Nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Prior Circulating and CVOR RN experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess patients, diagnose, and plan care.
• Implement and evaluate care plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Circulate and scrub complex surgical cases, ensuring perioperative standards.
• Maintain readiness for after-hours and weekend emergency cases via on-call rotation.
