UF Health Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, FL is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to utilize the nursing process, assess patients, and develop evidence-based care plans within a high-volume 12-OR suite.

The role includes circulating and scrubbing complex cases, maintaining perioperative standards, and participation in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies. Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required or expected.

Formación

• Education: Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Experience: 1 year of Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) or Critical Care preferred.
• Preferred Specialties: Circulating and CVOR RN experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize the nursing process to perform accurate nursing assessments, diagnoses, and formulate care plans.
• Implement and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Circulate and scrub complex surgical cases, ensuring standard-of-care perioperative practices.
• Maintain agile readiness for after-hours and weekend emergency surgical cases via the on-call rotation.
