Qualifications

• RN with perioperative experience preferred.
• Associate Degree or BSN required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education around procedures and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients for surgery including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Support in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and maintain patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
• Document changes in patient condition accurately and timely.
