Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. The role requires delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety across pre-op, intra-op and post-op stages.

Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with current RN licensure in Ohio. BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are preferred; CNOR and other perioperative credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in Ohio
• Experience in operating room or perioperative setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced certifications preferred
• Strong assessment and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver perioperative nursing care
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR setting
• Monitor patient status and prioritize needs during surgery
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, sterile and patient-centered operating room environment
• Assist surgical team and coordinate care with other providers
