Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking a Registered Nurse for Hackensack Meridian Health in Hackensack, NJ. This full-time night shift role centers on direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, aiming to improve outcomes and collaboration across care disciplines.

Responsibilities include data collection, age- and disease-specific assessments, care plan development and coordination, medication administration using bar-scanning tech, and ongoing communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing is required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within 3 years is required.
• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and health care team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Adhere to the ANA Code for Nurses.
