Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required; BSN in progress preferred.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
• Current NJ RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to work part-time night shift.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized, timely manner.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
