Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR/Operating Room team. The RN will follow ANA standards and provide comprehensive nursing care, from history taking to post-treatment planning, in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The role requires strong data collection, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. BLS is required; BSN preferred and licensure in AZ or a compact state is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state.
• 6–12+ months med-surg/acute RN experience expected.
• Float position experience preferred for some units.
• BSN within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data systematically and prioritize by patient condition.
• Develop and revise patient care plans with family-centered focus.
• Administer medications and therapies; manage IV lines as needed.
• Document observations and nursing interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Precept and mentor new staff and students.
