VCU Medical Center in downtown Richmond seeks an OR RN Intern to support the perioperative team. You will learn and apply nursing skills in collaboration with RNs, delivering direct patient care from the operating room to recovery, under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications, documentation, and cross-training across OR units, with orientation to Main, CHoR, or Ambulatory areas. Training progresses to independent practice as you advance.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or RN Applicant designation.
• Enrollment in an accredited BSN program within 24 months of hire.
• Successful completion of a BSN within 60 months from date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Functions under direction of RN in patient care, education and problem solving.
• Lead and participate in rounding with physicians and care teams.
• Assists in nursing in-services and conferences following unit policy.
