Job summary

Qualifications

• ASN or higher degree required; BSN preferred.
• Texas RN license active in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of operating room nursing experience.
• Ability to work in a single service line; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care.
• Develop effective working relationships with ASC and Clinic team.
• Communicate patient information effectively to physicians, anesthesia, management and families.
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care per policy/procedures.
• Adhere to AORN/ASPAN standards for OR nursing care.
