Job summary

Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, IN is seeking an Operating Room RN I to join a fast-paced surgical team. This role covers perioperative circulating nursing, patient advocacy, and adherence to sterile technique while maintaining a safe, organized OR environment.

Requirements include Indiana RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and ACLS/ALS plus PALS within 6 months. A BSN is preferred; the schedule features four 10-hour shifts with call rotation and a $5,000 bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Registered Nurse in Indiana required.
• BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• ACLS or ALS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• One year OR nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs as the circulating nurse and patient advocate during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative period.
• Adheres to aseptic technique principles in the operating room.
• Maintains a neat, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Obtains and records initial assessment and prioritizes care by patient needs.
• Communicates effectively, delegates tasks, and coordinates team assignments for patient care.

Education

Registered Nurse licensure in Indiana

BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers
