Job summary

Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, IN seeks an Operating Room RN I to join a fast-paced surgical team. Eligible candidates will hold Indiana RN licensure and demonstrate strong patient advocacy in the intraoperative setting. The role includes a 4x10 hour shift pattern, on-call responsibilities, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The position requires BLS/CPR on hire, with ACLS/ALS and PALS within 6 months. BSN is preferred; prior OR nursing experience is favored.

Qualifications

• Indiana RN license required.
• BLS or CPR required upon hire.
• ACLS or ALS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• One year OR nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs as the circulating nurse and patient advocate during the intraoperative phase.
• Maintains aseptic technique and a safe operating room environment.
• Assesses patients and prioritizes care according to age and condition.
• Communicates effectively and delegates tasks for patient care.
• Participates in orientation, education, and quality improvement activities.
