Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Circulator for full-time day shifts. A $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus and on-call requirements are included. 1–2 years OR RN experience preferred with NC license and BLS; ACLs/PALS within six months of hire.

Join a fast-paced OR team with 13 rooms and 15–30 cases daily. Self-scheduling and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLs and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One to Two years of Operating Room RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the surgical setting using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

Skills

Operating Room RN experience

Basic Life Support (BLS)

ACLs and PALS within six months

Education

Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact

Bachelor's degree preferred
