Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring an OR RN for full-time work in Marquette, MI. This role features 6 x 10-hour shifts, 0.75 FTE or 60 hours per pay period, varied start times, and rotating weekends and holidays.

You will perform plan of care interventions, documentation, patient monitoring, and collaboration across disciplines to support safe, high-quality patient care. A Michigan RN license and an associate degree are required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred,

Qualifications

• Michigan RN license is required.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (BLS-HCP) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support as needed.
• Evaluates patient and family education needs and provides appropriate instruction.
• Advocates for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
