Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our staffing pool for med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab and cardiac units. This Full-Time role offers 0.9 FTE with 12-hour night shifts and a $7,500 sign-on bonus based on eligibility.

As part of Lifepoint Health, we support professional growth, patient‑centered care, and teamwork. Michigan RN license and an associate degree are required; BSN preferred and BLS-HCP certification is needed.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan RN license.
• Associate degree from accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan of care including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care performed.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Coordinate care across disciplines for transfers, discharges and referrals.
• Educate patient and family based on age and culture.
• Advocate for patient physical and emotional well-being.
