Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a full-time, in-person role. You will care for a sub-specialty patient group using the nursing process and clinical standards, while guiding the health care team as needed.

The role requires at least two years as an RN; one year OR experience is preferred. BLS and RN licensure are required. Shifts are 10 hours, with on-call and in-person work, and BayCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience as an RN.
• One year OR experience preferred for consideration.
• BLS certification and RN license required.

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards.
• RN role includes preceptor and charge nurse responsibilities when assigned.
