Job summary

BayCare is seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room in Winter Haven. The role involves direct patient care in a 10-hour day shift with on-call responsibilities and an emphasis on clinical excellence and teamwork.

Candidates should have OR experience, current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS as required. CNOR is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth at a large regional health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include clinical skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Certifications: BLS, RN license; ACLS as required by department; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently cares for a sub-specialty group of OR patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates patient care activities to the health care team as appropriate.
• Maintains professional accountability and participates in development per recognized standards.
• Performs role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
