Job summary

BayCare in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN for day shifts. The role involves independently caring for a sub-specialty patient group, delegating tasks, and upholding professional standards. Preceptor and charge nurse duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• At least 1 year of Operating Room experience as an RN is required.
• Cardiovascular Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
