Job summary

Hoboken University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an OR-focused role in Hoboken, NJ. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative care and supervise delegation to the health care team. On-call may be required; hospital operates with a patient-centered, collaborative approach.

Candidates should hold NJ RN licensure and have 1–2 years in an Operating Room, with BSN preferred. Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential for this role.

What You'll Be Doing

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care to patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.

What We're Looking For

• Education: NJ State RN license Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or BSN.
• Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in an Operating Room, ideally with some supervisor experience
• Skills: Possess excellent problem-solving, mentorship, time management, and priority-setting skills. Be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

On-Call requirement, as needed

The coordinator can pick up shifts if all attempts to find coverage failed.
