Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to join our surgical team. The role involves direct patient assessment, planning, and delivery of care for patients undergoing operative procedures, with emphasis on safe, efficient perioperative care.

Shifts are 7am to 5:30pm (10 hours), Monday through Friday, with rotational on-call weekends and weekdays.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• AORN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of care for patients undergoing operative procedures.
• Delegate patient care to other health care team members.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care to patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Valid NJ RN License, Associates Degree (Required); Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) AORN Certification Preferred
• BLS, ACLS required.
