Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Greenville, SC, seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6:30am–3pm shift. The RN will deliver exceptional perioperative care, lead in patient assessment, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient surgeries.

Minimum education is an Accredited Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing with an active RN license. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS preferred and may be required within 6 months based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• Basic life support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care, including discharge instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
