Jefferson Health at the Abington campus seeks a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a part-time basis (24 hours/week) with a day shift. Completion of Periop 101 preferred.

Applicants provide nursing care addressing the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of diverse patients and collaborate with care partners. You will participate in evidence-based practice, safety and quality initiatives, and inter-professional teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualificações

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Active RN license in PA is required.
• BSN strongly preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural sensitivity.
• Effective communication within inter-professional teams and with patients/families.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with patients, families, co-workers and staff to deliver evidenced-based nursing care in the OR setting.
• Applies the nursing process, follows safety protocols and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams and supports patient and family-centered care.
• Documents health information accurately and uses data to monitor outcomes and inform care.
