Mercy Cedar Rapids is hiring a Registered Nurse – Operating Room for night shifts. Open to new grads and experienced RNs.

Offers comprehensive orientation, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within a 24/7 OR with diverse procedures across Orthopedics, Neuro, General, ENT/Plastics, and Open Heart. Schedule 3-12 hour shifts with on-call pay considerations; 36–40 hour weeks; sign-on bonus up to $15,000; Mercy values integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in patient

Formación

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Iowa or a compact state is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in operating room is preferred but new grads are welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and collaborates with the healthcare team during handoffs and patient care.
• Maintains accurate, real-time documentation of nursing care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and applies patient care plans in the OR setting.
• Ensures sterile technique and proper equipment handling throughout procedures.
• Directs other licensed and non-licensed staff as assigned and supports teamwork.
