Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality perioperative care at St. Charles Hospital. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Shift is Days, with a typical 40-hour week. Requirements include an accredited nursing degree (AS or BS), current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS or PALS certification as preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AS or BS).
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS or PALS preferred (must obtain if not on hire).
• CNOR or SGNA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in OR.
• Monitor and support patient safety during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Coordinate nursing care with surgical team and other providers.
• Provide post-operative instructions and education to patients and families.
