Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Support Specialist to assist in PACU, OR, or GI Lab operations under RN guidance.

You will support patient flow, ensure a clean, well-equipped care environment, and collaborate with nursing staff to prepare patients for surgery and transport them safely within perioperative areas. You will help maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness, contribute to efficient workflows, and demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs safe, timely interdepartmental patient transport.
• Assists in cleaning, sterilization, setup and maintenance of equipment.
• Cleans operating room suites or procedure rooms between cases.
• Assists with terminal cleaning of operating room as requested.
• Puts equipment, supplies, and instruments away.
• Assists in prepping room for the next patient.
