St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Support Specialist to assist in the PACU, OR, or GI Lab under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will help maintain patient flow, keep environments clean, and support safety and efficiency in perioperative care.
You will work closely with nursing staff, prepare patients for surgery, and help transport them within perioperative areas while ensuring equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
As our Perioperative Support Specialist, you will directly assist in the smooth daily operations of the PACU, OR, or GI Lab under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Your support will be crucial for maintaining efficient patient flow and a clean, well-equipped care environment. Every day, you will perform routine and delegated ancillary duties according to established standards and policies, collaborating closely with nursing staff. This includes actively assisting nurses in preparing patients for surgery and facilitating their safe transport within the perioperative areas. You will also diligently help maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of essential equipment and supplies within the care environment. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting patient care and operational efficiency. You will exhibit excellent teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions accurately, all while helping to ensure a safe and organized setting for patients and staff.
