Qualifications

• Prior OR/ASC management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OR workflows and perioperative operations.
• Leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail and organizational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and readiness of the operating room.
• Coordinate OR staff coverage for scheduled surgical cases.
• Ensure OR is prepared and fully functional before each day.
• Review surgical charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor OR, PACU, anesthesia, sterilization, meds and equipment logs.
• Oversee inventory, supply levels, and coordination with vendors.
• Maintain organization of supplies, medications, implants and equipment.
• Track medications and controlled substances; ensure documentation.
• Manage crash cart and emergency equipment readiness and checks.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor visits.
• Monitor sterilization processes and testing.
• Support regulatory compliance with Florida office-surgery requirements.
• Prepare for inspections and compliance reviews.
• Identify missing documentation or supply shortages and address promptly.
• Collaborate with surgeon, anesthesia, nursing, and staff.
