Job summary

Puyana Plastic Surgery PLLC in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an experienced OR Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our on-site office-based surgical facility. This role blends clinical support with facility management and requires coordinating with the surgical team to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will collaborate with Dr. Puyana, anesthesia providers, nurses, and assistants, and you will be hands-on when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery center.
• Knowledge of OR and perioperative workflows.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Regulatory compliance and documentation proficiency.
• Experience with inventory and equipment management.
• Plastic surgery setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OR and PACU readiness.
• Staff scheduling and coverage for cases.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, nurses, and staff.
• Maintain clinical charts and compliance logs.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relations.
• Train and mentor surgical team.
• Improve workflows and resolve operational issues.
