Qualifications

• Minimum education of a High School diploma or equivalent; some college or secretarial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment used in OR procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with medical billing and distribution systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical charges and clerical support for the OR.
• Monitor and update surgical inventory costs and billing.
• Enter patient charges for OR, SDS, and PACU.
• Update MD preference cards.
• Order supplies and schedule OR cases.
• Work under the supervision of the Clinical Director of Perioperative Services.
