Ascension Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgery department at Via Christi, St Peter in Derby, KS. This day-shift, full-time role focuses on preparing the sterile field, supplying the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety throughout operative care.

Minimum requirements include Kansas RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certifications, plus 3 years of nursing experience with 1 year in leadership. Pediatric life support preferred.

Formación

• Requires Kansas RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certifications.
• 3 years of experience in professional nursing with 1 year of leadership experience.
• Experience in a surgical/operating room setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field.
• Anticipate surgeon needs with instruments and supplies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to streamline workflows.
• Maintain counts and equipment checks for patient safety.
• Reset surgical suite for next procedure.
