Job summary

USPI Crown Point Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Materials Manager to join our team. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Responsibilities include inventory control, ordering all medical supplies, receiving and stocking of supplies to their assigned area, and providing support to the surgical team per facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; CST certification preferred.
• CPR certification current.
• Experience with materials management in an OR setting.
• Computer skills relevant to inventory and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Orders and maintains all medical inventory. Order miscellaneous supplies for center.
• Performs quarterly inventory accounting.
• Receives and stocks supplies; delivers to appropriate locations and prepares paperwork.
• Coordinates with Administrator and nursing leadership; adheres to center policies.
