Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) Crown Point Surgery Center is seeking a Materials Manager. The role focuses on inventory control, ordering supplies, receiving and stocking, and supporting the surgical team within state standards.

Requirements include high school diploma, CST or six months experience, CPR, and experience in materials management in an OR setting. Weekdays only, no holidays, weekends, or call; some early mornings or late evenings may occur.

Qualifications

• Current CPR.
• Demonstrated necessary clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Orders and maintains all medical inventory. Order miscellaneous supplies for center.
• Performs Quarterly Inventory accounting.
• Checks in supplies per invoice and PO, delivers to location, accounts for back orders, prepares paperwork.
• Follows policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Researches pricing for equipment and supplies and maintains procurement records.
• Coordinates receipt of damaged equipment for repair or replacement.
• Assists in OR if needed and supports day-to-day operations.
