Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking an organized, proactive Service Line Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Perioperative Services team. You’ll work closely with surgeons, clinical staff, vendors, Materials Management, and leadership to ensure the instruments, implants, and equipment needed for surgery are available and ready when patients need them.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Three to five years of operating room experience preferred.
• Experience scrub in multiple specialties; leadership experience a plus.
• Basic Life Support and CST NBSTSA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical case preparation by reviewing schedules and equipment needs.
• Partner with surgeons, offices, vendors, and clinical teams to ensure resources are available.
• Manage implant and consignment inventory to maintain stock levels.
• Collaborate with Materials Management and Central Sterile for delivery and readiness of instruments and implants.
• Serve as a primary contact for vendors and ensure policy compliance.
• Support new products and equipment within established approval processes.
• Maintain surgical preference cards and assist with invoice tracking and approvals.
• Monitor utilization trends and provide equipment recommendations.
• Work with Perioperative Leadership to improve OR efficiency and throughput.
• Assist with budget planning, reporting, and operational improvements.
