Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in New York seeks an outside sales representative to grow hospital business. You will cover assigned territory, selling drapes and OR turnover solutions while building key relationships with decision makers.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quota-based sales (or 5+ years with same). Travel 90% of days to interact with healthcare providers on site and close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years quota-based sales experience (cold calling, full-cycle).
• Experience selling into the OR.
• Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
• Ability to present multiple product lines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to drive a car and travel ~90% of days to interact with healthcare providers on site.

Responsibilities

• Calling on hospitals within assigned territory to sell products.
• Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers leading to product and program sales.
• Establishing and nurturing client relationships with key decision makers.
• Presenting/selling new products and maintaining existing business.
• Team building among peers to ensure collaboration across the continuum of care.
• Leadership skills and ability to close the deal.
• Preparing bids and price quotes.
• Occasional cold calling with intent to develop new markets.
