Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA/Unit Clerk for the Main Operating Room. The role supports clinical staff with clerical and patient care duties in a fast-paced environment across multiple specialties.

You will work closely with the Charge RN, surgeons, and clinical staff to keep daily operations running smoothly and maintain EMR documentation. Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 0630-1700; benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Must have Idaho CNA certification.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Previous hospital or medical office experience preferred.
• Requires basic Medical Terminology and Anatomy; advanced classes preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist, patient care, and patient service coordination duties.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient information, messages, and medical documentation.
• Maintain Electronic Medical Records and facilitate smooth operation of the unit.
