Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring a CNA/Nursing Assistant to join our Surgical Prep and Recovery Unit. Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

You will support clinical staff at the unit level and perform nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under supervision of the licensed nurse, helping with personal needs and comfort of patients.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Idaho or completion of Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
• BLS/HCP certification required.
• Six months CNA experience in acute care preferred.
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and/or business record keeping.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care services and non-professional support under supervision of licensed nurse.
