The role emphasizes teaching patients, collaborating with physicians and staff, and participating in quality improvement; CT RN license, BSN preferred, and current BLS/ACLS are required or will be obtained.

Qualificações

• Valid CT RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS to be obtained within 6 months if not possessed.
• 1 year of acute care; 2 years surgical experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and work closely with physicians and staff.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Organizes and administers individualized, professional patient care.
• Provides nursing care per hospital, AORN, ASPAN and SGNA standards.
• Participates in patient teaching and quality improvement activities.
