HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to support peri‑operative care with strong staffing and modern tools that streamline patient monitoring and communication. You will work within a collaborative surgical team to ensure safe, high‑quality care and patient outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include pre‑op evaluation, patient education, IV therapy, site verification, and active participation in safety protocols.

Competenze

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license is required.
• Degree options include associate, bachelor, or RN diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• No travel required.

Mansioni

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education regarding the procedure and peri‑operative process.
• Prepare patients including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification per hospital policy.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team including providers, surgeons, technologists and others.
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to safely deliver nursing care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor throughout shift, and document changes.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow‑up measures.
